Blonde, properly designed

Lighter hair is a placement decision.

The right blonding plan considers where brightness sits, how colour grows out and the natural depth you want to keep.

Balayage, foils and glossing are tools rather than one-size-fits-all finishes. We combine them around your starting point, condition and the result you can responsibly maintain.

The most flattering blonde is the one that still looks intentional between appointments.

Maintenance

Hair health first

Healthy-looking blonde begins with restraint.

Bond-building additives are included as standard in JamesB colour services.

They support strength through the technical process, but do not replace sound judgement. We will adjust the plan, stage the result or say no to further lightening when the hair is not ready.

That is not a compromise. It is how better blonde lasts.

Questions before you book

Balayage & blonding FAQs.

What is the difference between balayage and highlights?
Balayage generally creates painted, diffused lightness with a softer grow-out; foiled highlights offer more controlled lift and placement. Many plans combine both.
Do new colour clients need a consultation?
Yes. A detailed consultation and allergy test must take place before your first chemical colour service with us.
How often will I need maintenance?
It depends on placement, brightness, tone and your natural base. We design colour around the maintenance rhythm you can realistically keep.
Is bond-building care included?
Yes. Bond-building additives are included as standard within our colour services.
